This is a music video for Animal by Miike Snow. I think that the narrative of the song is about somebody who is confused in terms of what they wish to do with their life and who they are. The video has been heavily edited and uses basic shots and angles but is effective because of the style of editing, id suggest that the video falls under the disjuncture category as it is very abstract and doesn't relate to the song apart from certain props and backgrounds that are animal related. The video features three men, one who is the main focus at all times (the confused person), it begins and ends in the same way and the lyrics read 'I change shapes just to hide in this place but I'm still, I'm still an animal' I think the choice of the same start and finish is to accompany these lyrics, however the middle is compiled of various sharp quick shots, outfits and interiors/exteriors which also relates to the song being about somebody who is unsure or confused all of this helps you understand this as the audience. The video contains a lot of very good lip syncing and various backgrounds, this isn't hard to do however is very time consuming to get right.
