Bands do various types of merchandising, most sell these products which are usually items of clothing such as t shirts or jumpers, small tote bags or badges, they at live gigs or events others also use internet sites and their own official websites to sell them. The merchandise usually consists of the bands logo, with 'The xx' its their black and white X or a photo of the band, this is so that it is obvious to the public eye who the promotion is for.
